About Bravik Box
I’ve loved drawing ever since I was a child. I still remember creating my very first comic book when I was just 7 years old. But as life went on—school, work, responsibilities—I slowly forgot what I once loved. For more than 30 years, I barely touched a pen except for quick doodles in the margins of notebooks.
Then, a few months ago, something unexpected reignited that part of me. My assistant told me she had just driven an hour and a half to buy a doll calledLabubu. She showed me a picture—strange at first glance, but also irresistibly cute. It reminded me of when I used to sell Beanie Babies in college, and I immediately saw the same spark of collectibility in Labubu.
Curious, I began reading about them, watching how people all over the world were collecting, trading, and cherishing them. Soon, my wife and I bought one too, and what started as amusement turned into fascination. I noticed that people weren’t just collecting the dolls—there were designer clothes, tiny shoes, and little bags made just for them. Some Labubus were rare, even worth thousands of dollars. That’s when the question hit me:
How do you protect and showcase something so special?When I searched for display cases, I couldn’t find anything made specifically for Labubu—or for collectibles like them. That’s when the old part of me, the part that loved drawing and creating, woke up again. I started sketching box designs late into the night, experimenting with proportions, sizes, and details that would highlight the true essence of a collectible.
I’d work my full day, come home at 6:30, then spend my evenings drawing until midnight. It was exhausting, but in the best way.
Sometimes, even at work, I’d catch myself sketching. Each design felt like bringing my childhood creativity back to life.
From countless samples—both here and overseas—we refined every corner, every edge, every proportion, until the boxes didn’t just protect the collectible… they elevated it. To me, these aren’t “just” display boxes. They are frames that give depth, dignity, and beauty to the art of collecting.
This project has reawakened something in me that I thought I had lost forever—the joy of making art. And while I sometimes wish I had started this journey earlier in life, I’m deeply grateful that it found me now.
